Liverpool Screen School is a renowned journalism school. You will have access to state of the art newsrooms and TV and radio studios, along with opportunities to research and create news across digital, print and broadcast media through the highly-respected course website and newspaper JMU Journalism. You will also get to hear from a variety of well-known guest speakers. In the past we’ve received visits from leading journalists, including broadcaster John Suchet and BBC Foreign Affairs correspondent John Sweeney.

Our new Sports Journalism degree gives sport enthusiasts opportunities to learn specific journalism skills and make contacts in one of the most exciting sporting regions of the UK.

From shorthand to international relations, studying journalism at LJMU means gaining a range of additional skills: along with excellent graduate destinations and work placements, and with the BA (Hons) Journalism fully accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council (BJTC), you can be confident of gaining the knowledge and experience you need to help you towards your dream career.
