In addition to the three bursaries offered by LJMU, BABAO will be offering up to four bursaries from the organisation’s funds that will cover the full cost of registration fees for members experiencing difficult financial circumstances. The four bursaries are available to BABAO members presenting their research in either a poster or podium presentation.
Two of the bursaries are available to student members, unwaged members, members from qualifying countries paying a reduced BABAO membership fee and members working in the commercial sector or in a museum. Bursaries will only be offered where employing institutions do not provide any funds for conference attendance. The other two bursaries have been ring-fenced for unwaged members and members working in the commercial sector or in a museum. Bursaries will only be offered where employing institutions do not provide any funds for conference attendance.
If you would like to be considered for a BABAO conference bursary, please apply by including a statement on the abstract submission form in the same manner as for the LJMU bursaries. Please make sure to include an explanation of how you meet the qualifying criteria. We will ask for proof of your qualifying status before bursaries are awarded.
