ICCE Global Coach Conference 2017

Provisional programme for the ICCE Conference

We are planning the following events for the ICCE Global Coach Conference 2017.

ICCE Research Fair

29 – 30 July

The ICCE hosts a number of pre-conference workshops aimed at developing collaborative networks between academic institutions and key stakeholders responsible for the development of coaches. Registration for this event is separate to the conference.


LJMU Sport Coaching Student Conference 2017

30 July

Enhance your employability, hear from well-known leaders in the field of sport coaching and share your experience – part of the ICCE Global Coach Conference pre-conference activity.


Sports workshops (e.g. football, cycling, athletics)

30 July

A number of applied workshops will be available throughout the day. These bespoke sessions are primarily aimed at coaches and practitioners who are unable to attend the conference. Full conference delegates can register at no extra cost but access is dependent on availability.


Festival of Sport (Talent Day and Fun Run)

30 July

It is our intention to organise a Festival of Sport in order to engage the public in physical activity while raising the profile of sports locally. There is no booking for this event.

The Conference programme will evolve as keynote speakers, research abstracts and best practice presentations are confirmed. However, the following strands will run throughout the conference:
