Thursday 10 October is World Mental Health Day and LJMU is raising awareness of all aspects of mental health and wellbeing, including suicide prevention, by outlining the support and resources available at the university for students and staff.
International Women’s Day takes place this year on Sunday 8 March and here at the university we’ve got a range of events for students and staff to get involved in throughout March.
World Mental Health Day is observed annually on 10 October with the main objective of raising awareness of mental health issues and mobilising efforts in support of mental health.
World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.
We are raising awareness of the support available to our student and staff community at LJMU including steps you can take to look after yourself, events and support at the university, our commitment to the University Mental Health Charter, and what that means for you.
