1. Grants and Projects (GaP) System is Live!

   Research and Innovation Services and Finance are now using the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system.

2. Grants and Projects Update

   New Grants and Projects (GaP) software which provides LJMU with a collaborative creative environment for anyone applying for external funding and professional services to work together on bid and project proposals.

3. Get Trained on GaP

   All grant funded projects and knowledge exchange projects must be recorded on the GaP system from April 2020

   Additional training dates have now been made available as GaP (Grants and Projects) training has proved to be very popular.

5. Mind the GaP!

   Time is rapidly running out for Principal Investigators to be trained on the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. It has been agreed by the University that any bids for external funding (research and enterprise activity) from April 2020 will need to be set up by the Principal Investigator on the GaP system, so its important that you book onto training ASAP.

   Liverpool has been named as a runner-up for the title of European Capital of Innovation 2026.

   LJMU's Natural Capital Hub and School of Education support Liverpool City Region Combined Authority community action plan

8. Embedding nature in local planning

   LJMU is training officers from the six local authorities of the Liverpool City Region and the combined authority to understand the importance of putting nature at the heart of local decision-making.

9. All You Need is GaP

   Just a reminder that all externally funded projects must be both registered (a GaP project created) and costed on our Grants and Projects (GaP) system from 1st July 2020.

    The impact of ten new LJMU research and engagement projects has been celebrated at a recent on campus event, recognising the university’s continued commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
