Registration is open for the 2019 Professional Services Conference, being held on Thursday 27th June in the Redmonds building. This year’s theme is “Leadership Matters” with a focus on resilience, health and wellbeing.
We are launching the National Student Survey (NSS) 2022 to eligible final year students next week.
A new Neonatal Care Leave Policy has been created and existing family friendly policies have been updated in relation to neonatal care leave.
Diwali is the famous festival of lights, when families and friends get together to feast and celebrate. The five day festival begins on Sunday 27th October 2019; each day has its own individual meaning and associated celebration. The third day of Diwali is regarded as the most important day. Diwali literally means a ‘row of Lights’. It is a celebration of light! It is a time filled with light and love. The festival does not follow the Gregorian but rather the Hindu calendar known as ‘Tithi,’ which is a lunar calendar. We would like to wish all our students and staff community who celebrate this festival a very happy Diwali!
Today is Transgender Day or Remembrance (20th November 2019) - A vigil will be held in Exchange Station 6.00pm onwards
LJMUs newest staff network has launched this February with over 70 attendees from across Professional Services attending the event online.

Each year applications are invited for the conferment of Professorships and Readerships and the process for 2020 is now open.
