The representations of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) roles is improving, but there’s work to be done. As of 2018, WISE Campaign (Women into Science and Engineering) announced that the UK is on track to have one million women working in the field by 2020. These statistics are encouraging, and demonstrate an improvement in opportunities shown to young women who pursue the career path.

The opening was marked by a family event: Human Evolution Festival, but the gallery is now open to the public and an activity trail will be available soon. Where do we come from? What makes us human? The penultimate day of our summer graduation week boasted three ceremonies; graduands from Liverpool Business School celebrated in both the morning and afternoon, while graduands from the School of Humanities and Social Science enjoyed their ceremony with family and friends from 5pm.
