Andy Cooke has a distinguished policing career spanning more than 30 years, eventually seeing him taking on the highest role within Merseyside Police as Chief Constable. In 2023, he became a Bicentenary year honorary fellow in recognition of his outstanding achievements and the positive impact of his leadership in policing, both locally and nationally.
Matteo could be described as LJMU’s very own Indiana Jones. A principal lecturer in forensic anthropology, he is a charismatic academic with an unconventional approach to scientific inquiry in both forensic cases and life’s mysteries, with a penchant for holy relics and intrigue for ancient rituals, legends and even a spot of magic.
While working as a social media executive and studying at LJMU for her MA in Human Resource Management, Selma became an internet sensation starring alongside LFC manager Jurgen Klopp for the club’s kit launch. As a result, she has helped to raise the profile of fellow young Muslim women from both the Liverpool and football fan communities.
