    LJMU’s Maritime Centre offers a range of courses under the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers.

    We are looking for adult volunteers to examine how achievement motive —the motivation to achieve excellence and accomplishment—and task difficulty affect the effort that individuals invest in a physical handgrip task.

  5. Kelly Massey

    Kelly is a former international 400m athlete for Great Britain and Northern Ireland and has Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European medals to her name. She was one of the first sport scholars to study with LJMU in the late 2000’s and has been a lecturer with our School of Sports and Exercise Sciences since 2018.

    The Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology offer a range of learning opportunities in natural sciences including animal behaviour, biology, conservation, bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology and primate behaviour.   9. Family accommodation - accommodation

    Accommodation suitable for students with families is not provided by LJMU. The rooms which we provide in our partner halls are only available to full-time students. They are not available to the partners or children of students.

    LJMU partners with schools and colleges to offer students volunteer opportunities, helping pupils with their schoolwork.
