    The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) specialises in fracture and contact mechanics, wave propagation in lattices and microstructures, thermal fatigue and thermal striping, materials development and processing, as well as dynamics and control systems.   5. CPMH Book Series

    Current CPMH Co-Director, Professor Nicholas J White (LJMU) and former CPMH Co-Director, Professor Andrew Popp (Copenhagen Business School) are the series editors of the Liverpool University Press book series, Studies in Port and Maritime History.

    Expertise within the Centre for Natural Products Discovery include: Natural Products synthesis, analysis, Pharmacology, formation and delivery, toxicology. Phytochemistry and Phytotherapy, Microbial Natural Products and Nutraceuticals Functional foods.

  7. q:LJMU

    q:LJMU was established to provide an inter-disciplinary space for LJMU staff and research degree students interested in research with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA+) people and communities to come together to support research activities, discussion and collaboration.

  8. Belfast Comparative Study Visit

    The Belfast field trip forms a core component of the Comparative Studies module within LCAPS at Liverpool John Moores University. Established in 2021, it brings together students from policing, investigations, and forensic programmes to explore how policing is shaped by social, political, and historical context.

  9. Applied Sport Psychology Research Group (ASP-RG)

    The Applied Sport Psychology Research Group (ASP-RG) conducts applied research and consultancy to understand performance excellence and to optimise human functioning from a psychological and socio-psychological perspective.
