1. Empower the Next Generation: Host a Work Experience Placement

   This May, June or July, the Diversity and Inclusion team is looking for staff and teams to host local pupils in year 10, 11 and 12 for work experience placements at the university.

6. Apply to study abroad

   Applications for LJMU’s study abroad programme are now open. Students can apply to spend either one semester or an academic year abroad at one of LJMU’s partner institutions across the globe.

7. Men's Staff Network launches

   Colleagues from across the university came together this month for the launch of the new Men’s Staff Network. The network aims to raise awareness of the issues affecting men and boys and the associated impacts on wider society, alongside opportunities for networking and mentoring.

8. LJMU joins early years training pledge led by HRH The Princess of Wales

   Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power signed the pledge to embed social and emotional development within early years training.
