   Our work experience programme is looking for expressions of interest from staff and teams across the university for a Year 10 pupil to undertake a placement within your department.

   The Diversity and Inclusion team is looking for staff to support our annual Work Experience Programme offering a one week placement to a 14-17 year old pupil.

   Academic colleagues are invited to express an interest in becoming a panel member or chair for our Validation and Periodic Programme Reviews.

6. Launch of LJMU Innovation Programme

   LJMU is launching a new programme to support staff in developing successful innovation and business concepts.

7. Outreach programme takes pupils to London

   Local school children have visited University College London (UCL) as part of an LJMU widening access programme. Access All Areas is an initiative from LJMU’s Outreach team which arranged the first university exchange for year 11 pupils.

   A programme of improvement works to our estate is taking place over the summer months.

9. Chair and Panel Member Briefing Sessions

   Three in-person sessions are being offered in Exchange Station for academic colleagues who wish to become a Validation/Periodic Programme Review chair or panel member.

10. LJMU programme gives confidence for pupils to succeed

    An LJMU programme for local schools is giving youngsters the “motivation and confidence that inner city pupils from Liverpool can succeed”.
