1. LJMU Assessment 4 – 14 January 2022

   As we approach our assessment period early next year, this note is to provide you with important preparation information and to confirm that exams will take place in person (with the exception of Levels 3 and 4).

4. New institute to power city's leadership in AI

   LJMU launches Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies Research Institute to support new knowledge and applications

5. Grade Journey update: Marks-to-SIS staff training programme

   Staff training will run from April to July in preparation for the Marks-to-SIS implementation.

6. Registration now open for Students at the Heart Conference 2026

   This year’s Students at the Heart Conference (SATHC) will take place on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June.

7. Grad Edition Discovery Internships now open for applications

   Final year undergraduate students (level 6) have until Sunday 15 March to apply.

8. Support at LJMU for those impacted by Cancer

   LJMU has introduced 20 trained Cancer Support Ambassadors across the university to support LJMU staff and students affected by cancer, directly or indirectly.

10. BBC placements vow for Journalism and Sports Journalism

    LJMU Journalism department has signed an exciting new partnership with BBC Radio Merseyside and BBC North West in a bid to help develop and nurture new talent.
