The LCAPS Summer and Winter School offers a unique opportunity to explore these careers through hands-on experiences, practical activities, and direct engagement with professionals working in the field.

  3. Royal Society Partnership Grants

    Partnership Grants of up to £3000 are available to schools to enable students to carry out science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) projects. The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences runs two of these projects per year.

  6. Postgraduate study with LOOM

    LOOM is accepting PhD applicants who wish to carry out research into the design and operation of large engineering systems, as well as research on operational research, including simulation, optimisation and evolutionary computation.     Ana’s lab works on transforming waste products into new civil engineering resources. The team uses bio-based waste from agriculture and industry to make new construction resources with that have resilient, self-healing properties.

    As a part of the Qualitative Analysis in Action project, you are invited to read the interviews with women who are making positive changes to their communities in Nepal. The interviews help us to gain a better understanding of these women's unique and inspirational lives.
