   Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

5. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

6. Research Workload Allocation Guidance for staff

   The guidance on time allocations to conduct research, also known as the Research Workload Allocation, has been outlined on the Research and Innovation Services webpages.

7. Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now taking expressions of interests from eligible candidates for two vacancies on the Academic Board, a Directorate and a Professoriate member.

8. Examination Timetable now out

   The main University examinations will take place between 27 April - 7 May 2020.

9. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

10. Apprenticeships and Student Governance policy updates

    The new Apprenticeships Policy has received Academic Board approval and 20 Student Governance policies, guidance and pro forma have recently been reviewed, and have received minor amendments.
