7. Aldham Robarts Library to remain closed on Sundays until end of 2023

   Staff and students can access alternate library services at the Student Life Building or visit the Avril Robarts Library on Sundays.

8. Windows upgrade: action required from all staff

   All staff need to be aware of an important upgrade required on managed laptops and desktops – this is an upgrade to Windows 11 and needs to be in place before the start of the new academic year (31 August 2025).

9. New LJMU intranet launched

   Staff and student homepages get new look and feel with improvements in access to news, announcements and quick links

10. Restrictions on using USBs for students and staff

    From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.
