    The collective research activity of these LJMU staff spans experimental psychology, psychopharmacology, epidemiology, qualitative inquiry, and public health, with a strong shared focus on substance use, mental health, and health inequalities.

    The Drone Technologies and Sensing (DTS) research area combines some of the latest research from the General Engineering Research Institute (GERI) in the field of state-of-the-art drone technology, alongside well established research streams in optical measurement and sensing that have a long history of sustained research excellence.

    The Centre for Natural Products Discovery is concerned with preventing and curing disease. Find out about the abundance of scientific evidence that indicates that certain naturally occurring, non-nutritive and nutritive chemical components may prevent or reduce the risk of some chronic diseases.
