1. How can staff enhance the student experience? ‘Make every contact count’

   More than 120 staff from across the university attended an engagement workshop on prioritising the student experience.

5. Student Information System Upgrade

   The University’s Student Information System (SIS) is being upgraded. SIS will be unavailable during the upgrade, from 5pm on Thursday 21st November until 8am on Tuesday 26th November.

6. Student Life and Sports Building win Best New Build Project award

   LJMU’s Copperas Hill development has won an award for the Best New Build Project at the Merseyside Civic Design Awards.

7. Help us to improve the Get LJMU Ready Guide for our new students

   Staff with recent experience of supporting someone starting university are encouraged to share their feedback.

8. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

9. New Student Voice, Access and Success SharePoint site

   The new staff resource is a single hub for information related to Student Voice, Evaluation, and the Access and Participation Plan.
