The Astrophysics Research Institute is interested in star formation, stellar evolution, time-domain astrophysics, galaxy formation and clusters, dynamics and evolution. In March 2026, LCAPS at Liverpool John Moores University hosted officers from the Norwegian Police University College (Politihøgskolen) as part of an international exchange programme.
