1. Reminder of new online travel request process through Staff Infobase

   Staff should now submit their university travel requests digitally for approval.

   The Secretariat has updated the request form to incorporate the additional stages of approval required from colleagues in finance and legal.

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

   Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.

   During the summer, IT services will be delivering an upgrade to Microsoft Office and Google Chrome will become the default browser.

7. New and updated diversity and inclusion policies

   The Employment Committee has recently approved a new diversity and inclusion policy and guidance document, as well as amendments to an existing policy.

8. Order wellbeing journals for your students

   Copies of the wellbeing journal can be ordered by staff for students.

10. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

    LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.
