Ten Liverpool School of Art and Design students and graduates showcased their work in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury festival.
An ambitious public-facing art exhibition CLEARANCE! is now on display at Liverpool's iconic former Lewis's department store building, showcasing the work of MA Fine Art students and graduates.
Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) celebrated 200 years of the Liverpool Art School with students, staff, alumni and the wider artistic community at an event on campus.
On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th August 2019, the MA Art in Science programme at Liverpool School of Art and Design hosted an Art & Science Exchange workshop with members of the Biochemical Society. The exchange was held at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, in the Public Exhibition Space and X-Gallery amongst the MA Art in Science student's end of programme postgraduate exhibition, which showcases the outcomes of their three month research projects. These projects served as a basis for investigation of specific art-science interactions, and were supported by open discussions, hands on activities and a Liverpool LASER talk.
The first exhibition of wholly Jamaican art to be displayed in North-West England will find its home in Liverpool this spring. The exhibition has been curated by Dr Emma Roberts, Associate Dean for Global Engagement for the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies at LJMU.
LJMU hosted charity Arts Friends Merseyside in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to the arts in the region, while celebrating LJMU's art collections.
World AIDS Day takes place on 1st December each year.
The Liverpool School of Art and Creative Industries (LSACI) Journal was launched to coincide with the 200-year anniversary of the Liverpool School of Art.
A film charting the history of Liverpool College of Art, today’s Liverpool School of Art and Design, was screened at a special event attended by more than 50 alumni of the college and university.
