Degree Apprentice in Mechanical Engineering

Role description: Support the activities involved in bringing designs into manufacture. This role will be pivotal to the planning and delivery of engineered products to our customers. The focus is on developing the skills required to produce output from our manufacturing facility on time, on cost and to the right quality.

The combined product range of ACE Fabreeka UK includes: industrial shock absorbers, hydraulic dampers, feed controls, gas springs, expansion bearings, isolation mounts, elastomeric pads, composite thermal break plates, seismic mass/foundation isolation and pneumatic systems.

Start date: September 2017

Wages:
Age 21 to 24: £7.05 per hour
Age 25 and over: £7.50 per hour

Wage will be reviewed on an annual basis. Discretionary bonus scheme depending on company, team and employee performance.

Degree Apprentice in Quantity Surveying

Employer: Mott MacDonald

Role description: We work in a variety of sectors including infrastructure, energy, education, healthcare, utilities and property. The role will be varied and could include the following:

  • Supporting the prepartion of estimates and cost plans, valuations and financial statements
  • Helping to create monthly reports
  • Helping to prepare and analyse tender documentation, you will have exposure to contract reviews and settlement of construction

Degree Apprentice in Quantity Surveying

Salary: starting on Grade D from £18,256 per annum (grade to be confirmed). On a 5-year programme with a sliding scale up to Grade G from £26,691 to £30,764 per annum (details and grades to be confirmed)
