LJMU | MNCO Creative Arts Project 2016

25 - 26 October 2016

Are you passionate about the creative and performing arts?

The LJMU | MNCO Creative Arts Project has now taken place, you can see images of the event on our Twitter page

If you are in Year 10 or 11 and interested in music, dance, drama, theatre studies or art and design, the Liverpool John Moores University Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach Creative Arts Project is a fantastic opportunity for you.

Designed to give you a taste of studying these subjects at degree level, the Project provides you with a unique opportunity to learn and practice within a university environment. You’ll take part in two days of creative activities based at LIPA and Liverpool Hope University's Creative Campus during which you’ll learn about the many aspects of theatrical arts and you'll have the opportunity to check out an array of facilities. Current students and staff will be on hand so you can find out more about the subjects you are interested in and discover the vast range of prospective careers available to arts graduates.

You'll work on collaborative pieces with a team of specialists, including graduates and current university students. At the end of the programme there will be a celebratory presentation at Hope University's Grand Hall where parents and guardians are invited to take part in the festivities.

About the Project

Following the success of the LJMU | MNCO Creative Arts Project in April an even bigger event is planned for the October half term break, Tuesday 25 - Wednesday 26 October 2016.

The Project will be delivered alongside several other universities and colleges across Liverpool, including LIPA and Liverpool Hope University as part of the Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach (MNCO).

Project details:

  • Students from Years 10 and 11 who are interested in the creative and performing arts will be recruited
