Student accommodation for the second semester of 2021/22

Liverpool has a wide range of good quality student accommodation. LJMU does not own any accommodation itself and instead we work in partnership with a number of trusted and reputable private providers.

The rooms listed on this page are available for the second semester of 2021/22 to all incoming exchange students and they are also available to current LJMU students who have been studying abroad during the first semester.

How to request accommodation

If you wish to request a room for the second semester of 2021/22, please send an email with your choice of accommodation and include your 6-digit LJMU ID number. Emails should only be sent from 10.00 am UK time on Monday, 18 October onwards. Any emails received before that date and time will be deleted. Please do not contact the accommodation provider directly because they will not be able to assist you.

Accommodation for the first semester of 2022/23

Students who require accommodation at LJMU for the first semester of academic year 2022/23 will be able to view their accommodation options and submit a request from Monday, 9 May 2022 onwards. Rooms will be available on a 15-week tenancy that will run from Saturday, 17 September to Friday, 30 December 2022.

It is not normally possible to extend the first semester tenancies past the end of December 2022. Students should contact their International Mobility Coordinator at LJMU if they have an in-person assessment during the January assessment period. It may be possible to offer an alternative assessment that does not require students to be present in Liverpool but this will be at the discretion of the academic department concerned.
