- UKRIO’s Expert Webinar series hosts Zoom webinars on key topics open to all and free to attend. If you have missed a webinar, the Expert Webinar page includes an archive of past sessions and slides.
- Researchers beginning a project may wish to consult UKRIO’s downloadable checklist for good practice in research.
- UKRIO provides the Authorship Integrity Toolkit to help research contributors adopt and promote good authorship practice. It includes downloadable guidance on good authorship practice, a model procedure for resolving authorship disputes, and a template authorship strategy agreement.
- The Medical Research Council (MRC) supplies Good Research Practice Policies and Guidance.
- MRC provides a free e-learning module on Good Research Practice. The module is open to all, but users will need to make an account.
- NHS Health Research Authority provides free e-learning resources for all on research integrity and ethics (users will need to make an account through NIHR Learn).
- The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) provides guidance on publication, peer review, and editing ethics.
- For advice on conducting peer review responsibly, COPE supplies Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.
- The UK Government's National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) provides resources on trusted research, including videos and a downloadable brochure to help researchers have confidence in international collaboration and make informed decisions about potential risks.
