Research at the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies Research Institute (AIDTRI) is organised through a set of focused, interdisciplinary research groups.
CORE-AI advances foundational and translational Artificial Intelligence methods that enable understanding, simulation, and intervention in complex real-world systems.
iHCI (Immersive Human-Centred Intelligence) is a research group focused on the development and evaluation of intelligent technologies that place human experience, wellbeing, and decision-making at their core.
Researchers in the Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology have used drones for the conservation of habitats, discovered how Neolithic agriculture spread, and uncovered the earliest evidence of hunting - to point out just a few of our achievements. Find out more about our work including current projects and collaborations.
The Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology offer a range of learning opportunities in natural sciences including animal behaviour, biology, conservation, bioarchaeology, forensic anthropology and primate behaviour. Find out about our current MPhil projects and PhD opportunities.
Explore why Archaeology is an important area of focus for staff at the Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology.
Research within the Contexts of Human Evolution Group involves archaeological, palaeontological and environmental analyses of human evolution. Our research focuses on mammalian evolution, hominin behaviour and ecology, and patterns of faunal and floral distribution. Discover our research areas and current projects, facilities, collaborations, publications and people.
Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds. Find out more about the Social Behaviour, Ecology and Conservation Research Group's work, collaborations, publications and meet the research team.
The Research Centre in Evolutionary Anthropology and Palaeoecology hosts an annual seminar series.
