LJMU’s James Parsons Building is getting a host of new facilities to enhance the teaching, learning and research environment for students and staff.
All staff need to be aware of an important upgrade required on managed laptops and desktops – this is an upgrade to Windows 11 and needs to be in place before the start of the new academic year (31 August 2025).
From this month LJMU will begin publishing all student and staff security card photos into Microsofts 365 suite of products.
Now incorporating a dedicated template to nominate external examiners from industry or practice.
Staff and students can access alternate library services at the Student Life Building or visit the Avril Robarts Library on Sundays.

From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.
