  1. Sue Johnston OBE

    Read the oration for Sue Johnston OBE on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Professor Frank Sanderson.

  2. Electrical and Electronic Engineering facilities

    The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research Centre has a wide range of facilities, including probe stations, test samples, semiconductor parameter analyzers and a range of three-phase and multiphase (five-phase, six-phase and nine-phase) machines too. The Centre also has two-level and three-level voltage source inverters and a three-phase to nine-phase direct matrix converter.

    Nicola, a fine art graduate, shares the story of Tag-Art, her business specialising in murals, sculptures, and creative workshops.

  5. Joanne Brunnen

    Jo is a finance officer and in 2023 celebrated 35 years of working for LJMU. She’s worked across many different departments during her career, and as the university has evolved. During more than three decades of dedicated work, Jo has made lasting friendships along the way and even met her husband here too.
