Courses
Professionally accredited degree programmes
We are constantly updating our courses alongside health and social care organisations so that we can offer education that meets the sector's needs.
We offer stimulating and challenging learning experiences alongside high levels of support. Students practise in simulation centres which replicate hospital wards, counselling rooms, home settings and ambulances – on a whole “family” of virtual patients and service users before going out on placement in a real life setting. Students complete placements within a range of clinical settings, both within and outside hospitals, in primary care, nursing homes, children's community teams and other heathcare settings. Underpinning all aspects of education is a commitment to ethical and anti-oppressive values and principles of the NHS constitution and professional body requirements.
100% student satisfaction rates for midwifery and paramedic practice*
Lifelong learning in healthcare
We offer a wide range of CPD opportunities to equip you with the skills, confidence and competence demanded by the healthcare sector. The flexibility of these CPD courses means you can either study standalone modules or as part of a larger award towards an undergraduate or Masters degree.

The Midwifery Practice Suite based in the School of Nursing and Allied Health.
"I am out in placement four times a week gaining valuable experience as well as learning the academic side once a week in a classroom. The programme is fantastic and gives students plenty of hands-on experience for when they graduate."
