In memoriam: Caroline Aherne
It is with great sadness that the University announces the death of former student Caroline Aherne at the age of 52.
Caroline studied Drama at The Liverpool Polytechnic during the 1980s.
Caroline went onto an illustrious career as a comedian and became a BAFTA winning writer and actress, famed especially for her shows Mrs Merton and The Royle Family.
