Postgraduate Researchers: How’s it going?

Postgraduate Researchers: How’s it going?

Calling all postgraduate researchers! Please tell us about your experience of your research programme and help raise money for The Whitechapel Centre at the same time. The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) provides the University with vital feedback, helping us to make changes and improvements for PGRs in the future. The survey is open from 1 April until 10 May 2019.

Feedback is vital to the university. It lets us know how your programme of research is going, and allows us to compare how we are doing against the experience of students at other institutions, helping us make changes that will improve the experience for research postgraduates in the future. All your responses will be confidential and any reporting will be anonymous.

The University will donate £1 for every completed survey to local housing and homelessness charity The Whitechapel Centre. As an additional incentive and to thank you for your time, the faculty with the highest response rate will receive £500 to spend on PGR-related activities.

If you are a current MPhil, PhD or Professional Doctorate student who enrolled before 1 January 2019, look out for an email with a link to the survey. For more information on PRES, and what happens to the results, please see www.ljmu.ac.uk/research/doctoral-academy/current-research-students/pres or contact Victoria Sheppard in the Doctoral Academy.
