As part of Pensions Awareness Week, Merseyside Pension Fund will be running a series of live online events which aim to increase pensions awareness among active members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
Fund presenters will take members step-by-step through a 2022 Annual Benefit Statement, explaining what the figures mean and when they can take the pension that they are building up.
Each session will finish with an explanation of how you can register for the Fund's 'MyPension' service and access your own personal Annual Benefit Statement.
Whilst these sessions will be most useful to members currently contributing to the LGPS, it may also be of interest to those people who have recently joined, or those non-members who are eligible to join.
Each event will be delivered through Microsoft Teams and should last no more than 30 minutes.
Sessions will take place at 12:30pm, 1.30pm and 4.00pm respectively, on the following dates:
- Tuesday 13 September 2022
- Wednesday 14 September 2022
- Thursday 15 September 2022
