LJMU to hold one minute silence for Ukraine

All staff and students are invited to join the university in marking the national minute's silence for Ukraine, at 11am, on Friday 24 February.

The date marks one year since the full scale invasion of the country.

Last year LJMU Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Power, issued a statement on behalf of the university offering support to those affected by 'the deeply shocking events.'

He also outlined the steps LJMU has taken to support our Ukrainian students, staff, and wider community.
