Get free IT kit through Laptop and Recycled IT schemes

Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes. 

Laptop Scheme

Open to new, full time, Level 3 and 4 students only. You can apply for a free voucher to buy a new laptop from an external IT company. Eligibility criteria applies and successful students will be given a code towards the purchase of a laptop. 

Applications are now open until 5pm, Friday 13 October and students will be informed by wc 23 October if their application is successful.  

Recycled IT Scheme 

Open to all new and returning students, the recycled IT kit scheme allows students to apply for recycled and refurbished desktop computers and laptops.  

The used PCs and equipment have been refurbished by local social enterprise Bulky Bobs and are of a good specification and prepared for immediate use.  

No eligibility criteria applies for the Recycled IT Kit Scheme (other than you can not have also re and the applications are open while stocks last.
