Other Professional Activity:

I am currently producing a documentary film about one of the last remaining yarn mills in the UK. The film follows certain traditions in documentary filmmaking, namely the City Symphony and Industrial Symphony sub-genres of poetic filmmaking. Footage of the 'Spa Mill' in Slaithwaite, Yorkshire was shot in May 2016 and is currently being file managed in preparation for editing. The film will be premiered in Huddersfield at a conference at the University of Huddersfield in February 2017. More details to follow..
