Senior Lecturer Michelle Ponting is an award-winning broadcast journalist with a background in commercial radio news.

She has spent much of her career in the North West working for stations owned by Bauer Radio. Michelle has been the Head of News at Rock Fm and Wire FM and deputy editor at Key 103 in Manchester, now The Hits radio.

Michelle continues to freelance in the industry.
