I am currently undertaking research regarding the impact of mental health traits on academic performance and academic well-being.
The study is conceptualising certain mental health conditions (such as ADHD) as not immediately detrimental to the individual, with certain traits being beneficial to a point. From a certain point these traits may become pathological and it is at this point the impact become detrimental to education and maladaptive to the individual.
The study will be conducted over a wide spread of school on a large sample using multiple regression.
