Dr Kalum Bodfield is a senior lecturer in the School of Education at Liverpool John Moores University. He lectures across a variety of modules including mental health and wellbeing and working therapeutically within early childhood. Kalum is recognised as a Chartered Psychologist in the British Psychological Society.

Areas of interest include adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), emotional regulation, self-concept, neurodiversity, trauma-informed education and social comparison.

Kalum's PhD explored the relations between neurodevelopmental behaviours, attachment, student self-concept and teacher feedback. The findings demonstrated a clear relation between attachment characteristics, neurodevelopmental behaviours and the self-concept with evidence suggesting that teacher feedback was fundamental in the establishment of these relations.
