Serving police officer with over 30 years operational experience, primarily in specialised policing and criminal investigation units. Also with extensive overseas experience in operational and strategic positions with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo, as Austrian Police Attaché to Georgia and Azerbaijan, and as Resident Twinning Advisor for an EU funded project on Intelligence Led Policing in North Macedonia. Currently serving as the Information Security Officer with the EU Common Security and Defence Policy Mission to Ukraine.

Area of study focuses on regional Police Liaison Officer systems in the European Union. Fields of interest are information exchange in general information exchange between police entities internally and externally; police and cooperation culture; exchange of information in the context of EUROPOL and INTERPOL.
