An experienced former Merseyside police officer who also served in various overseas locations on operational, training and advisory missions. Operational experience is largely in the command of critical incidents, firearms and public order operations. Extensive experience in policing large scale crowd events.
Research interests are the sociology, psychology and policing of collective action and crowds in multiple contexts.
