Rachel Russell

School of Justice Studies

Rachel Russell is a Lecturer in Policing Studies at the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies at Liverpool John Moores University. Specialist areas of teaching include Evidence-Based Policing (EBP), sexual offences, vulnerable populations and police academic skills. Rachel is specifically aligned to the delivery of the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) programme and is Module Lead for Level 5 Evidence-Based Policing and Exploring Policing Studies.

Rachel holds a BA(hons) in Sociology, a MSc in Policing and Criminal Investigation and is currently undertaking PhD studies regarding young persons who go missing from residential care.
