Robyn joined LJMU in September 2023 as a lecturer in Policing and works across the undergraduate courses, the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, and Police Now programmes. Robyn has taught in further and higher education since 2018, having been the Programme Lead for foundation degree, degree top-up, and access to HE courses, and has delivered on subjects such as law, criminal justice, politics, social justice, police powers, and management and leadership.

Before entering education, Robyn worked for the Witness Service within criminal courts in the North West supporting victims and witnesses of crime. Robyn has over 15 years of leadership experience across the private, public, and charity sectors.

Robyn holds a degree in Politics and Communication Studies from the University of Liverpool, a graduate diploma in Law from the University of Law, a post-graduate certificate in Education from the University of Central Lancashire, and is currently completing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Chester.
