Konstantina is a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at LJMU and Faculty coordinator for PRME. Since January 2021, she is the Level 6 Manager, a role that combines typical Level Tutor responsibilities as well as elements of the LJMU Programme Manager role, and currently leads L6 modules. Prior to working at LJMU, she was a Lecturer in Business Management at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Konstantina was awarded a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility in 2015 at Manchester Metropolitan University. She recently completed a MA in Higher Education. Konstantina’s research interests revolve around social responsibility, sustainable business models and, responsible management education. She is currently working on a research paper that acknowledges the role and significance of power dynamics in collaborative cross-sector business models for sustainability. She co-authored book chapters in transformative learning. Konstantina is particularly interested in understanding the role of universities in the recovery of the society in and post the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak.
Konstantina is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2017. She is an external examiner for the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. She has experience of reviewing articles for academic journals and grant applications. Konstantina acted as the chair of the British Academy of Management (BAM) Sustainable and Responsible Business Special Interest Group.
Konstantina is interested in supervising PhD topics that relate to her research and teaching interests.
