Biography
Dr Scott Foster joined Liverpool John Moores University in May 2013 having previously spent seven years working within the retail sector (General Manager). Scott has also previously spent seven years at Mercedes Benz as a Financial Controller. This was mainly in the UK, but with some experience of working in Europe. Scott has also served as an Infantry Soldier, serving in multiple countries including working for the United Nations peace keeping force.
Scott lectures in Business related topics such as Finance, Strategy and Research Methods. Scott’s research interests centre on theorising human resource development; through spirituality and the impact this has on organisational commitment and is part of a team that is looking to contribute their research in the areas of institutes/management-learning-knowledge-organisations-human-resources-and-evaluation-research.

The focus of Scott’s research is organisational commitment to spirituality in the workplace and the ways in which organisations policies and procedures cater for the right to allow their employees to express spirituality within the workplace.
