Biography

I am a faculty member at the Astrophysics Research Institute of LJMU. Before joining LJMU, I did my PhD study and postdocs in Japan, Israel and the US. My research focuses on the hydrodynamics and radiation processes of gamma-ray bursts and black hole astrophysics including hypervelocity stars, tidal disruption events, compact stellar mergers and gravitational wave astronomy.
