Dr Chia-Hsun Chang

School of Engineering

Dr Chia-Hsun Chang has started his position as Lecturer in Maritime Studies and LOOM member since July 2017. Before joining the LJMU faculty team, he was an Assistant Professor in Chung-Ang University in South Korea and a Research Fellow in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He obtained his PhD in maritime management from Plymouth University. His research interests include maritime management, risk management, logistics management, maritime autonomous surface ships, and maritime cybersecurity. His methodology mainly focuses on statistics empirical analysis, including Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), TOPSIS, Bayesian Network, Factor Analysis, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), etc. He is keen in collaborating with others in areas of mutual interests.
