Lyndsey qualified as an adult nurse in 2008 and gained experience in gastroenterology, orthopaedics and general surgery before moving to critical care. She worked in a general and trauma critical care for eight years developing in the specialism, gaining an interest in cardiac care.
Lyndsey then moved into cardiothoracic intensive care to complete her Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) training, before moving on to be a cardiology ACP in a specialist tertiary centre. Due to her interest in the development of advanced practitioners and post graduate education for nurses Lyndsey became a senior lecturer in 2023.
As an Advanced Life Support Instructor Lyndsey has a special interest in resuscitation and as a Generic Course Instructor is passionate about developing others resuscitation skills.
