Dr Jennifer Chopra

School of Psychology

I joined Liverpool John Moores University, School of Psychology as a Lecturer in Psychology in 2014. I qualified in Psychology from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2008, MSc in Psychological Research Methods at The University of Stirling in 2009 and PhD in 2013 at The University of Stirling on the relationship between intimate partner abuse and suicide risk.

My main research interests are in suicide and self-harm prevention, intimate partner abuse, stalking and domestic homicides. I am a member of the Forensic Psychology Research Group, and the Suicide and Self-Harm Research Group (SSHRG) at Liverpool John Moores University, as well as being a member of the Suicide and Self Harm Research Network in the North West (SSHaRe NoW).
