I am a fully qualified teacher/lecturer (PGCE/QTS/FHEA) in HE (Levels 4 - 7 ) and the 11- 18 year education sector, a successful post-doctoral scientist, and a professionally qualified horsewoman with a passion for equestrianism that exceeds 30 years. I am also an external examiner, and I have been an academic and research lead. I have taught at several universities, university centres, and land-based colleges, where I have been a module and programme lead for undergraduate and post-graduate courses. In addition to teaching biology, anatomy and physiology, I have taught a wide range of topics including biomechanics, training and exercise, nutrition, breeding and reproduction, learning and behaviour, therapy and rehabilitation, health and welfare, and human animal interactions.
