Sport and Exercise Sciences

Faculty of Science

Henrike graduated and worked as a physiotherapist in Germany before completing her MSc in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at KU Leuven, Belgium. She graduated with a PhD in Biomechanics and Human Movement Sciences from University of Salford in 2018 and continued working there as a Research Associate. Since January 2019 she works as an Advanced Research Physiotherapist at the North West Movement Analysis Centre at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where she performs gait analysis with children and young adults. She also holds a post as an Honorary Research Fellow at LJMU where she contributes to research, especially in the field of cerebral palsy.
