The project was contacted by Ted Jones whose father, Captain John Owen Jones, had recorded his memories of his time with Elder Dempster Lines, Ocean Fleets and Blue Funnel in a fascinating book which can be read here. We are grateful for Ted for sharing his father’s memoirs with us.
